Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GPS Land Measuring (“the App”) accesses, uses, stores, and handles information.

1. Information the App Uses

Location

The App may request precise or approximate location to provide features such as:

Location permission is optional if you only use features that do not require GPS/GNSS positioning.

The App does not use your location for advertising.

Measurement Information

Measurement records may include:

This information is primarily stored locally on your device.

Photos, Videos, and Files

The App may allow you to:

The App only accesses media or documents you choose through supported App functions.

2. Local Storage

The App stores measurement information, settings, attachments, and related records locally in application-managed storage.

Locally stored information may remain on your device until you:

Deleting a measurement does not automatically delete copies you previously exported, shared, printed, or saved elsewhere.

The App may retain a locally generated ZIP export separately from the measurement record until it is replaced or cleared.

3. No Nicehave Measurement Cloud

The current version does not provide:

Measurement databases and attachments are not intentionally uploaded to a Nicehave measurement server.

If you voluntarily contact support by email or Telegram, that communication is separate from the App’s local measurement storage.

4. Third-Party Map and SDK Services

The App uses third-party services and SDKs, including services associated with:

These third parties may receive technical or operational information needed to provide their services.

Depending on the service, this may include:

The App does not control third-party retention or processing practices.

Please review the privacy policies of the relevant service providers for additional details.

5. Maps and Location Exposure

When using online maps, map providers receive requests necessary to display map content.

These requests can reveal the geographic area being viewed even when raw GPS observations are not intentionally uploaded by the App.

Mapbox SDK telemetry may also process usage or location-related information according to Mapbox’s own settings and policies.

6. QR Processing

QR scanning is performed using on-device barcode recognition.

The barcode or QR content itself is processed locally for App functionality.

However, SDK providers may still collect diagnostic, application, device, or usage information independently of the barcode content.

7. Attachments and Metadata

Photos and videos stored by the App may preserve metadata already embedded in the original file.

This can include metadata such as:

The App does not guarantee that embedded EXIF or similar metadata is removed.

When you share an original attachment or export a package containing attachments, embedded metadata may also be included.

8. Import, Export, and Sharing

The App supports user-controlled import and export of measurement information.

Supported workflows may include:

Exported information may include:

When you send content to another application, storage provider, email service, print service, or recipient, that external service’s own privacy practices apply.

The App cannot control the data after it leaves the App.

9. QR Sharing

Measurement information may be encoded directly into a QR code.

Compression or encoding does not encrypt the information.

Anyone who can view or scan the QR code may be able to access the information contained in it.

Only share QR codes with intended recipients.

10. Support and Issue Reporting

The App allows you to contact support or report an issue.

Support contact:

Email: support@nicehave.com
Telegram: @jaminkk

The Report an Issue function opens your email application and may prefill:

The App does not automatically attach measurements, coordinates, photos, videos, logs, or other project data to the support email.

You decide whether to send the message and what additional information to include.

11. Advertising

The current version does not contain an advertising SDK and does not use location or measurement information for advertising.

12. Analytics and Diagnostics

The App does not operate its own analytics service or standalone crash-reporting platform.

However, third-party SDKs used by the App may collect usage, performance, diagnostics, installation identifiers, or crash-related information according to their own policies.

13. Permissions

Depending on the features you use, the App may request access to:

The App does not currently request broad storage access, background-location permission, microphone permission, Bluetooth permission, or advertising-ID permission.

Media and file selection is handled through Android user-selected file or media access where supported.

14. Data Security

The App is designed to keep measurement information locally where practical and to avoid unnecessary App-owned network transmission.

However:

You are responsible for protecting access to your device, backups, exported files, and shared information.

15. Data Deletion

You may delete measurements and attachments through supported App functions.

Deleting locally managed App content does not delete:

Clearing App data or uninstalling the App normally removes App-private local data, subject to Android and device-manufacturer behavior.

16. Measurement Accuracy

GPS/GNSS accuracy depends on many factors, including:

The displayed accuracy value is an estimate and not a guaranteed measurement error.

The App is not a substitute for a certified cadastral or professional survey.

17. Children

GPS Land Measuring is a general-purpose mapping and measurement utility and is not specifically designed for children.

18. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when App functionality, SDKs, legal requirements, or data practices change.

The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
